Breathing BEYOND Grief™

We have lost the way things used to be and we are filled with a level of emotion and anxiety we have not been taught how to navigate.

Along with death and divorce, we experience grief with change and disappointment, such as a move, loss of a job or promotion, retirement, loss of a dream, relationships that end and many other changes, including COVID and other diseases. This unresolved grief can cause physical, mental and emotional upheaval, it can drive our decisions and directly affect our capacity for joy.  

Everyone wants us to feel better, but no one shows us how… until now!

Our body is like a pressure cooker.  It fills with the energy of unresolved emotion we have suppressed along the way. We have learned to stuff our emotions because people want to fix us or they just tell us not to feel. These are intellectual responses to a heart communication; therefore, our heart does not feel truly heard. Eventually, our pressure cooker is full and we are no longer in charge but driven by the discomfort caused by these pent-up emotions. We use our vices to “let off steam” but that only helps in the short term and the feelings remain.  This unresolved emotion can cause physical issues as well as general anxiety, depression, or illness. 

Breathing BEYOND Grief™ begins to clear your pressure cooker with various approaches including breathwork, writing and communication, and the Let, Listen & Love technique. The work of Transformational Breath® helps promote physical vitality, mental clarity and emotional well-being while creating a deeper connection to peace. The writing and communication helps us free ourselves from past hurts and traumas. And finally, with the Let, Listen & Love technique we work with our triggers to learn to respond vs. react and feel more empowered.

Through specific exercises we will uncover what we learned about our emotions and how we have learned to cope in unhealthy ways. We will then take inventory of past events and discover why and where we have unintegrated emotion. We then begin to recover by finding communications that need to be said as well as locating unresolved emotion in the body at the energetic level.

This program is experiential with specific exercises and is not a support group.

It was my great privilege to take the Breathing Beyond Grief workshop at the Clearing Center. The work is very deep, but presented in perfect little manageable steps, expertly planned and presented. Each session was a twining of threads including breathwork, movement, music, loving support, writing, and intentions. The Beginning

Transformational Breath® Senior Trainer and Grief Specialist, Jennifer Gronbach, created Breathing BEYOND Grief ™ out of a deep desire to share the processes that have saved her life.  Experiencing depression and internal struggle, she found healing in the power of her breath.  As deeper truths were revealed by the breathwork, the writing and communication became increasingly important for her to feel seen, heard and loved on all levels.  This allowed her to come out of emotional hiding, truly embrace who she was and live in authenticity.
